Mariquita Masterson’s jewelry was inspired by an idea for a table design.  While chairing an event for the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, she commissioned a glass blower to create pieces of glass for the tables.  In his studio, Mariquita saw large chunks of glass on the floor, and the idea came to her of how beautiful they would be set as jewelry.  So she got a drill and started on it in her living room.  That was 25 years ago and today she is still going strong, working with the same glass blower, and with several teams of silversmiths, creating her beautiful designs in glass.  In her store, you will find a beautiful collection of all different colors of dripped glass, as well as unique pieces that are made from glass crafted by Mariquita herself, using fusing, enameling, and pate de verre techniques.  Each piece is made and set individually, by hand, and we are continually exploring new styles of glass and new techniques.  You are welcome to come and visit our store and see these beautiful creations for yourself!
